PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A double-head keg filling machine is a high-efficiency, sanitary device engineered for filling beer, cider, or carbonated beverages into standard kegs, ideal for medium-sized breweries, beverage plants, or craft beer distributors seeking to boost filling throughput compared to single-head models.

Core Specifications & Features

1. Material & Structure

Contact parts are crafted from food-grade SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel (resistant to acidic beer and carbonation corrosion), including filling heads, flow meters, and beverage contact lines; the frame is made of heavy-duty stainless steel for stable operation during continuous production. The dual filling heads are independently adjustable, allowing simultaneous filling of two kegs of different specifications (e.g., 10L and 30L kegs) with precise volume control.

2. Filling Technology & Modes

Equipped with two mainstream filling modes for versatility:

◦ Counter-pressure filling: The primary mode for carbonated beverages (e.g., craft beer, soda). It first purges kegs with CO₂ to displace air (preventing oxidation and foam formation), then equalizes pressure between the beverage tank and kegs before filling, ensuring minimal CO₂ loss and consistent carbonation levels.

◦ Gravity filling: Suitable for non-carbonated beverages (e.g., still cider, cold brew coffee), relying on gravity flow for gentle filling with low foam generation.

Digital flow meters or level sensors enable precise volume adjustment (5–50 L per keg), with a filling speed of 20–60 L/min per head, cutting batch filling time by half compared to single-head machines.

3. Operation & Control

Features a PLC touchscreen control panel for setting filling parameters (volume, pressure, speed) and monitoring the filling process in real time; supports semi-automatic and fully automatic modes. Semi-automatic mode requires manual keg positioning and triggering, while fully automatic mode can integrate with a conveyor system for unmanned operation. Each filling head is fitted with a quick-connect keg valve adapter (compatible with Sankey, Euro, and Speidel valves) for fast keg connection and disconnection.

4. Key Accessories

Standard configurations include CO₂ pressure regulators, a foam recovery system (to recycle excess foam back to the beverage tank), a CIP cleaning port for automated pipeline cleaning, and a set of interchangeable valve adapters for universal keg compatibility.

Application Scenarios

Perfect for medium-scale craft breweries, cideries, and beverage factories, compatible with all standard keg sizes (5L, 10L, 15L, 30L, 50L) and suitable for filling carbonated/non-carbonated drinks with high efficiency and minimal product waste.
