1. Material & Structural Design

Made of food-grade 304/316L stainless steel with seamless, polished inner walls to avoid bacterial adhesion and milk residue buildup; vertical cylindrical bodies with conical or sloped bottoms ensure complete drainage and easy cleaning. Reinforced tank walls and bases support large-capacity models (up to 50,000L+) for industrial dairy operations, while compact horizontal designs are available for small dairies or farm use.


2. Temperature Control System

Equipped with double-layer insulated jackets and refrigeration coils to maintain a stable low temperature (0–4°C) for raw milk storage, inhibiting bacterial growth and extending shelf life. High-end models add heating functions for pasteurized milk storage (holding at 60–65°C for short-term use) and PID temperature controllers for precise regulation, with over-temperature/under-temperature alarms for safety.


3. Hygiene & Functional Accessories

Features closed-top designs with airtight seals to prevent contamination and oxidation; standard fittings include large manways for inspection and cleaning, sampling ports for quality testing, and level sensors for real-time inventory monitoring. Commercial-grade tanks are fitted with CIP (Clean-in-Place) spray balls for automated sanitization, complying with strict dairy industry standards (e.g., 3-A Dairy, FDA).


4. Operational & Scalability Traits

Integrated with sanitary inlet/outlet valves and transfer pumps for seamless connection to dairy production lines (e.g., pasteurizers, mixers); some models add nitrogen blanketing systems to further protect milk from oxidation during long-term storage. Capacities range from 100L (small farms) to 50,000L+ (large dairy factories) to match different production scales.
